Confirmation Service - Trinity Sunday, 8th June, Benefice Service at St. Peter's, Irthlingborough.  Bishop John Flack has accepted our invitation to confirm our candidates. If you are interested in being confirmed, or would like further information, please speak with John, Pauline or Ruth.

Soul Spark is a short course of six sessions, offering ‘a retreat for beginners’ in Christian Spirituality. It will offer an opportunity to draw closer to God through prayer, reflection and sharing. It gives time to draw aside from the business of life, to a space where you can be more attentive to your-self and God. There will be opportunities to explore ways of being more open to God through prayer and creativity, insights into understanding our spiritual dynamics and giving time to share and listen to each other’s experiences. Rather than seeking to teach, the course is designed to be experiential – a ‘taste and see’ approach to opening our-selves to God. It is a Nene Crossings Benefice course, open to all.

It will be held at St. Mary’s church, Woodford on Wednesday evenings, starting with refreshments of cheese and wine at 7pm (course starting 7:30) and aiming to finish at 9pm. May 21st, & 28th, & June 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th.
The course works best where those attending are able to get to most of the sessions.

Vision Growth at Irthlingborough update 1st June 2012

January 2013: A sub committee of the PCC has been formed to investigate the changes to the buildings that may be required for the plan. As we investigate new ways of worshipping, the Archdeacon has issued us a licence for a year to experiment with the use of a nave altar. And we are working towards the creation of a creche facility.

The goals we have set ourselves over the coming three years are published in the document 'Kingdom Building - our vision for the future' which has been circulated to the congregation. Copies are available at the back of the church and can be downloaded here:
